The Pleated Bomber

The Pleated Bomber is cut from deadstock Italian cotton whose raised tuft texture comes from the fabric's own weave, the way grass stands when nobody cuts it. The pleats are ours: Marie-Louise pleats each length of cloth by hand in our Berlin atelier before the jacket is cut, sewn and lined in silk. The cuff ribbons, seen tied at the wrists in the lookbook photograph, are removable; the first photograph shows the jacket without them.

Edition: one roll of cloth, 15 jackets. Each is numbered and comes with its own digital passport.

Materials: 100% cotton, woven in Italy, deadstock. Silk lining.

Measurements, in cm. Unisex. Size M is measured on the original piece, worn by Lesley Danso in the lookbook photograph. S and L are graded from it in standard 4 cm steps. Length is given front / back.

Care: hand wash cold, or professional cleaning. If a machine is the only option, use the gentlest cold cycle, inside out, in a laundry bag. Never tumble dry. Steam, or iron low on the reverse.
