Atelier Internship
The role: a six-month studio internship in a working slow fashion atelier, from the development of a collection through its presentation at Berlin Fashion Week. You work by hand, on real garments, beside the team, led by Marie-Louise.
Over six months you contribute across the atelier's craft:
- Pattern construction and draping: draping on the form, translating muslin into flat production patterns, and building internal structure such as corsetry, boning and padding for the most demanding pieces
- Garment construction and upcycling: cutting and assembling silks, linens and reworked archival material, and adapting patterns so found material reads as intended
- Hand embroidery and crochet: bead and tambour embroidery at the frame, and the hand-shaping of crocheted elements for placement
- Show support: technical dressing at the runway, with live fittings and backstage alterations under time pressure
Who we look for: attitude first. You have genuine energy, you already crochet (basic is enough), and you want to build the rest of the craft with us. You are a fashion design student in Berlin, completing a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) as part of your studies.
Apply for this roleAtelier Collaborator
The role: an ongoing, voluntary way to contribute to the atelier as it grows. It is not a casual sign-up. We look for people who take the craft seriously and want a real, lasting place in how the house produces its collections.
How it works:
- Hybrid: on-site in the Berlin atelier and from home, with patterns we provide
- You contribute to pieces on a rhythm that works for both sides
- Your contribution is credited and your hours are counted
- Because you see the atelier from the inside, we ask you to keep what you see confidential
Who we look for: crochet, embroidery, hand-finishing or another technique, and the commitment to grow it with us over time.
Voluntary and unpaid. It is not employment and carries no obligation on either side. You can start as soon as we agree a fit. What it offers is a serious, ongoing relationship with a working atelier.
How to apply: tell us your craft and how you would like to contribute.
Apply for this roleBranding & Operations Intern
The role: a three-month internship as the operational link between the office and the atelier. You keep the day moving between the studio and the desk: practical, organised and reliable. You handle the operational and administrative side, coordinate between Marie-Louise and the team, and document the work as it happens for our channels.
We are a small slow fashion atelier in Berlin. The garments are produced by hand; the operations run from the office. What we do not have is someone in between: an office person, organised and pragmatic, rather than a craftsperson at the table.
What you do:
- Handle the day-to-day operational and administrative tasks of a working atelier
- Coordinate between the office and the studio floor
- Document the work, in photo and video, for our content
- Support the practical side of events, production and the show calendar
Who we look for: attitude first. You are organised, dependable, and you get things done without being chased. You are comfortable with a camera. You are a fashion management student in Berlin, or come from an operations, communications or business background. This can serve as a voluntary or a mandatory internship.

The door is still open, and not only for those who sew and crochet. Aspiring photographers, fitting models, writers, production and event helpers: if you have real interest and something to give, tell us what you would bring. This is voluntary.
