The Doily Willow
The Doily Willow is a dress of vintage cotton-lace doilies joined into an open bodice, falling into the willow's long fringe in plain white cotton. Every doily is pre-owned, crochet from another lifetime given a second one here.
Materials: 100% cotton — white cotton fringe yarn (OEKO-TEX certified) and vintage cotton-lace doilies (upcycled)
Technique: Floral doily-lace crochet bodice with an open-work midriff, falling into a long willow-fringe skirt
Production time: ~45 hours of handwork
