The Weeping Willow

The Weeping Willow is the heaviest garment in the collection, more than 800 pearled fringes falling from the neck, 70,000 glass pearls in all. The willow was the tree I loved as a child. I met two old ones again at a summer shoot last year, and knew I owed them something.

Materials: 100% cotton base (OEKO-TEX certified yarn); 70,000 clear glass pearls
Technique: Hand-beaded fringing — more than 800 pearled fringes
